Refund, Cancellation and Alcohol Policy
All refunds for orders placed via our website will be made via the original payment method used.
Cancellations or alterations to orders must be made prior to postage or delivery.
If an order is amended to a hamper of lower value we will refund the difference in the price of the hamper to the original payment method used.
If you change your mind and no longer want your order, please contact us immediately. If South West gift hampers is advised of the change of mind prior to us processing the order, we will cancel it within our system and refund in full. If there is a change of mind after the order has been delivered, then returns must be made at the customer’s own cost to our Dusnborough address and on receipt of the returned item we will refund for the cost of the hamper. Please contact us for further information.
Whilst we will do our best to ensure delivery is made in a timely manner, we will not provide compensation for deliveries not made on the expected date.
If the Australia Post states that an item has been delivered but the recipient is claiming non-receipt, we will investigate with them and on the results of the investigation suggest an appropriate resolution. Please note this process of investigation may take several days.
In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase with South West Gift Hampers all we ask is the parcel is returned within 7 days of receiving in the same condition it was received and we will refund you for the hamper.
If we run out of stock of any item within the hampers, we will replace it without notice for a similar item of equal or greater value. We will not provide any compensation (refund or credit) for swapped ingredients.
All items are inspected carefully prior to delivery/postage. Faulty merchandise may be returned within 7 days of purchase. In the circumstance that you need to return or exchange an item please email southwestgifthampers@gmail.com or phone 0407 788 221
If the reason for returning the Hamper is due to change of mind then outward shipping costs will not be refunded and the customer/recipient is required to cover costs of return shipping. This is as per Australian Consumer Law.
If we find the product to be damaged, faulty or the wrong item then there will be no additional shipping charges for resending an item. Please note that ingredients/products within the hamper may have been swapped for a similar item if we were out of stock when packing the hamper; if you are unsure please contact us.

Alcohol Policy

As per the WA liquor control act
​
The sale or supply of liquor together with flowers, food or other products to be delivered by the vendor or supplier as a gift, to a person other than the purchaser, vendor or supplier is exempt from the Act, provided that the following conditions are met:
The person to whom the gift is delivered must be at least 18 years of age; and
The quantity of the liquor sold or supplied cannot be more than two litres
If your hamper includes alcohol you are agreeing to the above conditions
Shipping / Delivery
All shipping will be sent via Express Australia Post. If the receiver is not home the parcel will be taken to the nearest post office unless authority to leave unattended has been approved by purchaser.
Home delivery will be same day if ordered prior to 10am otherwise the following business day. Hampers will be left in a safe space if authorised by the purchaser at checkout. If no one is home and authority not given, attempts will be made to contact the purchaser otherwise an attempt will be made to redeliver the following business day.
