Skigh Wine

Winemaker Skigh McManus got started in the industry at Howard Park in Denmark when he first finished school. Fast forward 25 years through vintages in New Zealand, Canada, America, Spain, France and Western Australia and the time was ripe to explore his own expressions of what WA wines can be. 
With all the wines we make, we're looking for balance and drinkability. Gentle, spontaneous ferments using native yeasts, no additions where pragmatic, natural acidity and minimal sulphur at bottling, leads to well-balanced wines that are approachable and alive while maintaining a sense of place. The wines are made organically, are vegan friendly and ultimately come from a desire to create wines
